Shown here is the original censored version of the UW book cover. This version of the cover never went to press. I was asked to remove the hands coming out of the book, change the book title, and put a smile on the girl. Doing so effectively made the revised version the most uninteresting book cover I've ever done for the Student Survival Kit. The original idea was conceived in an effort to make the cover a little more edgy, so people would pay more attention to the sponsor. Ironically it was a sponsor (for a different university cover) who objected to the illustration.
