Bathroom door sculpture |
comments |
About two and a half years before finishing this project, I started collecting my empty toilet paper rolls with the thought that I would someday make an art piece with them. I had no idea what, until inspiration struck a few months back. It occurred to me that I should make a sculptural pictorial sign, of sorts, to hang on my bathroom door. I worked the design out on my Mac. I cut the toilet paper rolls down to a shorter size with the table saw and then spent a lot of time with 220 grit sand paper and Elmer's Glue. The white in the sculpture is, of course, toilet paper. |
