This illustration was supposed to be used for t-shirts. Ultimately the customer didn't like the illustration after approving the sketch. I refused to sell it to them after they wanted me to agree to make any number of changes they wanted to the design for free – until they were happy with the design. The problem was that after two rounds of changes the customer still was not happy and was unable to express what they really wanted. So, I cut my losses and bowed out. Aside from their dorky looking mascot guy (I didn't come up with it!) this is actually a fantastic illustration and would've made great shirts. Some customers have just plain bad taste and bad business ethics.
