The Altar Boys was one of my favorite bands in high school. I spent a great deal of time obsessing over the smallest details of this illustration. It was at the height of my interest in realism. It is common for people to mistake this illustration for a photograph. Among other awards, this piece won "Best of Show" in two high school art shows. View larger version.
