This Big Blue Bonus Book cover is the first one in nearly 10 years that wasn't sponsored by a pizza business. The illustration is a stylized rendition of an actual game station set up at Reset Games. Reset Games has several stations set up around the building, so players can try the games out before purchasing. This setting seemed like the perfect opportunity to sneak a bubble tea into the illustration. As a big bubble tea fan, this is my way of paying respect to a newly opened business in town named Black Pearl. Black Pearl, hands down, sells the best bubble tea in Bellingham. It also happens to be located a couple doors down from Reset Games. View larger image. |
